Make Your Condom Environment Friendly

You may be smart enough to use condoms and prevent any STD and pregnancy but do you know smartly dispose off your used condom? The first thing to make the disposal of condoms environment friendly is never to flush them. Flushing the condoms could clog the plumbing system and could lead to embarrassing situations during the repair work.
The making of a condom is important for its disposal. Condoms made up of latex are highly biodegradable but this attribute reduces when they are under water. Therefore, condoms should never be flushed. Other things that might affect the biodegradability of condoms are the lubricants and spermicides on them. Even if your condoms are biodegradable, do not make the mistake of burying them. Animals could smell the human odor and dig up the buried condoms causing unpleasant sight of condoms on the ground.
No matter what material your condom is made of, the right way to dispose it off is by wrapping it up in a toilet paper or any paper bag and put it among the garbage. It would biodegrade on its own. Wrapping it in a plastic would not be of any help, as the condoms would not biodegrade in a plastic. The vaginal fluids and the semen on the used condom will facilitate the biodegrading process.
Keep in mind never to reuse a condom. There are cheap condoms and Adult dvds available in the market that you could get at reasonable prices. Be safe and keep your environment safe by practicing safe sex.
